The Actuaries Institute is the professional body representing actuaries in Australia and accepts applications for a range of membership categories.
New memberships, changes to membership and reinstatements are reported to CEO for approval bimonthly on the first Tuesday: February, April, June, August, October, December.
Membership fees
Our Membership period is from 1 October - 30 September, with fees due each year on 1 October.
We're currently offering 2024 half-year Membership Fees, from 1 April 2024 - 30 September 2024.

If your membership is defaulted on 14 December and you wish to reactivate it in the future you will need to pay a reinstatement fee of AUD$360.
The Institute has a provision for discounted membership fees if your total remuneration including superannuation and bonus for the year 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 is expected to be $85,000 or lower.
